The Milne Feeds team thoroughly enjoyed being part of this year’s Wagin Woolorama, once again showcasing the strength and resilience of the WA sheep industry. Despite the run of hot weather leading into and during the event, the turnout was strong, also highlighting just how important Woolorama remains to producers across the state, even in those trying conditions.
As a Platinum Sponsor, it was great to connect with many farmers and new customers, discussing current seasonal challenges, feeding strategies, and flock performance, particularly in what continues to be a demanding season. One of the most discussed topics was the high price of sheep and how it is supporting farm budgets.
A special mention must go to Wayne Manoni, whose support throughout the event was exceptional. It was fantastic to see him welcomed back and reconnecting with so many farmers he has built strong relationships with over the years. His presence and willingness to engage made a real difference across the day.
We were also pleased to have Celine Dale, our Marketing Specialist, in attendance alongside Elizabeth Owens, our Nutritionist. Celine was busy with Wayne, interviewing one very happy sheep enjoying Easy2Gro LM, which you can see on our Facebook page. Wayne and Elizabeth spent time with farmers discussing feeding strategies and how to navigate the current dry conditions. Their practical knowledge and approachable style were well received, with strong interest in the new Easy2Gro LM from farmers looking for clear, effective solutions on farm.
Paul Nenke, our Sales Manager, managed to lose his voice over the two days, much to Celine’s quiet relief.
Not to be forgotten was Michael Tarling, General Manager, who attended and was interviewed several times throughout the event by print, radio and TV media. There was strong interest in the new Easy2Gro LM feed, with Michael providing insight into its development, benefits and how it is helping producers maintain performance in challenging conditions.
