Milne Feeds has been supplying ruminant pellets to South Australian sheep and cattle producers for some time. With finished lamb values increasing across Australia, demand for Easy2Gro LM®, our new low-methane sheep feed, has been strong throughout South Australia.
Formulated with Hyfibe® and patent-pending Low Methane (LM) technologies, Easy2Gro LM® is designed to improve feed efficiency and daily weight gain while reducing enteric methane production. Producers currently feeding Easy2Gro LM® have been impressed by the high daily liveweight gains, with improved lamb carcase yields further enhancing profitability per head. A key benefit of Easy2Gro LM® is that it requires no adaptation. Lambs can be on full feed from Day 1, removing the need for lengthy introductory feeding periods that can cost producers time and money. It is safe for ad lib feeding and can be trail fed or fed in self-feeders or troughs.
Our South Australian depot network gives producers convenient and cost-effective access to pellets when they need them. Pellets can also reduce labour and eliminate the time and cost involved in processing grain, making them a practical option for many farms. Other products available include EasyOne®, a nutritionally balanced pellet designed for ewes, lambs and rams. EasyOne® can support ewes in reaching key body condition targets for joining, lambing and early lactation. A range of cattle pellets is also available, including EasyBeef® for finishing cattle and Early Weaner® for young weaners. EasyBeef® is a safe, high-performance feed designed to support optimal weight gain and feed conversion, while Early Weaner® is a high-energy, high-protein ration that supports growth and rumen development in early-weaned calves and young weaners.
Milne Feeds pellets are available for collection in bulkabags from depots across South Australia, including Ceduna, Wudinna, Kimba, Crystal Brook and Adelaide
