From 7–10 July 2026, the Adelaide Convention Centre will host LambEx26, the world’s premier sheep industry event, uniting more than 2,000 producers, processors, academics, advisors, students and industry leaders from across Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Canada and the UK. Built around the theme Telling Our Stories, LambEx26 promises four big days of knowledge sharing, networking and forward-looking discussion as the Australian sheep industry prepares to write its next exciting chapter.
A seat at the table
Milne Feeds is delighted to have a member of our team, Paul Nenke, serving on the LambEx26 working committee, helping to shape an event that has become a cornerstone of the Australian sheep, lamb and wool calendar. Being part of the planning process gives us a front-row seat to the issues, innovations and ideas driving the industry forward and ensures Western Australian producers are well represented in the conversation.
A trusted producer voice on stage
We are also incredibly proud to see one of our key Milne Feeds depot managers and producers, Dawson Bradford Jnr, presenting at the event. With more than half of LambEx26’s 80+ speakers being producers themselves, the program puts real on-farm experience front and centre, something our team is excited to see shared with a national and international audience. Dawson has an incredible story to tell.
Confinement feeding for success and profit
Milne Feeds Group Veterinarian, Dr Holly Ludeman, will also take to the LambEx stage to present on confinement feeding and feeding for success and profit. With seasonal variability, feed costs and pasture pressure all front of mind for sheep producers, confinement feeding has emerged as a powerful tool to protect pastures, maintain ewe condition and lock in profitability through tight times. Holly will share practical insights, on-farm learnings, and the nutritional principles behind getting confinement feeding right whether your containment feeding for the first time or looking to fine-tune an established system.
Why head to Adelaide?
Beyond the world-class speaker line-up, LambEx26 brings back much-loved favourites, including the Coles Trailblazers, the AMPC Carcase Showcase and the spectacular Elders Grandslamb Gala Dinner; alongside new additions such as Twilight Trade & Tastes and LambEx on Tour, proudly brought to you by Telstra. Altogether, the program covers everything from science and innovation to economics, sustainability and the people driving the future of our industry.
For our Milne Feeds team, LambEx is also one of the best opportunities of the year to catch up with producers, talk shop, swap ideas and hear directly from the people working hard at the coalface of Australian sheep production. If you’re heading to Adelaide, we’d love to see you there. Come and say hello, share a yarn, and let us know what’s working (and what isn’t) on your place.
