The Perth Royal Show was built on agriculture, and it continues to showcase the best of the country in the city every year. As Western Australia’s largest community event, the Show provides a platform for breeders, producers, and exhibitors to showcase the best in livestock, while also giving the wider community the opportunity to connect with farming and food production.
As part of our on-going commitment to support the ag industry, Milne Feeds is sponsoring across all livestock sections at the Perth Royal Show. Our support includes a range of feed donations and prize sponsorships for cattle, sheep and horses.
One area of the show we are especially proud to support is the Milking Station. For the past several years, we’ve supplied the feed that allows the dairy cows to perform at their best throughout the week. This area is where city meets country, giving city visitors a firsthand look at what their country cousins do and reminding everyone that milk doesn’t just come from a carton. Each demonstration draws a standing-room-only crowd, and it’s wonderful to see the joy on children’s faces as they learn where their food comes from. It’s a fantastic educational experience for all.
Each year, we also provide feed for the various agricultural schools bringing their animals to the show, something that would be extremely difficult for them otherwise. These students represent the future of the agriculture industry, and we believe it’s essential to support them. The week gives them the chance to connect with city visitors, compete with their animals, whether sheep or cattle, and enjoy an incredible week of learning and growth.
Milne is also excited to showcase our unique Hyfibe® technology to other exhibitors in the beef and sheep segments. Included in our sheep and beef feed solutions, Hyfibe® technology neutralises the build-up of lactic acid in the rumen and maximises the microbial population, allowing optimum growth and production.
This year marks our largest Royal Show feed delivery ever. Our customers are happy to know their tried and trusted Milne pellets are available to them whilst exhibiting at the show. With feed already on site, logistics are simplified and it’s one less thing for exhibitors to worry about.
